When Ukrainian families came to Stone, the Club stepped up to help and worked to find the best way to support them. Language was key so we supported a local language specialist, Andy Babb, by sourcing text books. This allowed the new arrivals to learn English, seek employment and further their education. In addition, we funded the purchase of school clothing and equipment for children to help them better integrate.

Andy Babb recently visited the Club and gave an interesting and informative talk about his work in Stone. The extent and number of people being helped is most impressive and the Club are delighted to be part of this.
